the DownUnderDiva
Mary Backous, the Down Under Diva,
is a Specialist and Expert in Australia and New Zealand Travel, with
15 of the last 22 years as a Travel Consultant devoted to South
Pacific destinations.
She was one of the first Certified
Aussie Travel Specialists with Tourism Australia. Four years ago,
Tourism Australia created an elite level of Aussie Specialist, the
Aussie Specialist Premier Agent, a prestigious title that must be
re-earned every year. As one of only 120 Premier Specialists in all
of the Americas, Mary has held this Premier level for all four
years!
Mary has made many, many travels Down Under visiting all the States
and Territories within Australia, she continues to have great
experiences, each time being more exciting that the last.
The Down Under Diva didn't stop with Australia. She is also a New
Zealand Travel Specialist and a Fiji “Matai” Specialist. The island
country of New Zealand is a very special place with North Island a
different ambiance than South Island; both fascinating destinations.
Working with the Fijians, the friendliest people in the world, has
been enriching and the country very beautiful.
